Guest with Autism child

I had a father stay with me with his 14 year old son whom has Autism and an 11 year old daughter. during their 4 night stay with us his autism child stood on my 10 month old cat and has hurt my labrador dogs shoulder, which I'm after giving my vet €60 for treatment but my dog may need more treatment. I only got €200 for their stay. The father was told what I seen his son do to my cat and was asked to keep an eye on him , but wasn't there when he hurt my dog. Is there anything I can do now to get my vet bill from him????
