Guest with a cat

I have a request for a guest from Canada coming to uk and wants to bring her cat !!! 

What do I do about checking quarantine etc

To get entry into the UK, the owner has to have the cat micro-chipped (this records mandatory vaccination details),  and the owner must show an approved pet passport too.

Quarantine isn't required unless the owner fails to meet the requirements at border control.

In summary, border control decide if it is safe to let an animal in the UK, not your worry.
