Guests never respond to messages

I’m kind of new to this .I live in a spit level home so I live upstairs and my guests stay in a private studio downstairs. They let themselves in with a key code. I let them have privacy so I usually never meet guests unless they  prefer . But I always leave a message when they book thanking them for booking and any information they will need and that seems to be ok and they respond well with that. But once they are here once they settle I message to make sure check in was ok and  everything is comfortable and to see if they need anything but no one EVER answers me back. Should I just not ask?  Maybe they just don’t have notifications. I don’t know but I don’t want them to think I’m just not checking.

Hi @Mike-And-Dana0 I hope you are both well!

 

Indeed some people turn off their notifications, or they don't pay attention to the app once they are in the listing and everything is how they expected it to be.

 

Keep sending your message, it's good form- and rest assured if a guest wasn't happy with any part of their stay they would reply to your message and get in touch!

 

I always let guests know how I'll communicate with them once they arrive- I always let them know that I will send a message the day after check-in to make sure they had a good first night, and then a message the day before they depart to confirm check-out time and instructions, and if they need anything in between to get in touch.

 

If they don't reply then I assume all is fine!
