Help iPad login says email invalid

I can not login on my IPad. It gives me the error ‘invalid email’ though it is the same email I use successfully on my mobile and desktop. A host friend tried her login email on my iPad and the same error occurred. My iPad iOS is up to date. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve tried to access AirBNB website directly on my iPad but it stubbornly defaults to the App. How can I successfully access AirBNB for managing my listings on my iPad?
