Horrible guest

I have a long term guest here for 30 days and now in the last week or so she is having local young boys over to the flat, they are coming to her door which is just outside my bedroom, at 2 and 3 in the morning!!! She is the only paying guest and now she has this steady guy it seems and he is there all the time and having showers etc, I have told her this is not appropriate, I am not running a sleazy motel... but still he is here. Can i give her a refund for the last 2 nights and kick her out??? I am desperate I can't stand it anymore

@Joanne-Elizabeth0 if there are only 2 nights left then it's not really worth the hassle of kicking her out and risking a bad review. I'm also not sure what your reasoning could be for kicking her out, as there is nothing in your listing or in your house rules that forbids outside guests/visitors. If you charge more for 2 guests rather than 1 you could always request the additional guest fee from her for the times he has been staying.

I'd suggest updating your house rules to make it clear that no outside guests are welcome. I've updated mine to say no visitors after some issues with guests. I have had one or two guests since invite outside guests over, but when I message them with the house rules and tell them if they break the rules again they will be asked to leave they start behaving themselves.

Thanks for your suggestion about switching my house rules, I have done that now. As far as getting a bad review I know this woman will write me a bad one anyway since I have been ruining her vacation!! I had no idea that this woman in her 50's was here in Fiji to entertain young men, its been a very uncomfortable situation and we will be glad to be rid of her.

I agree with @Rachel177 and knowing that you did not indicate those house rules in advance your guest has not violated them. She shouldn’t feel guilty for getting her groove back at the end of her holiday but better yet just receive a friendly reminder that she had only paid for one guest and not two for the last week.
