How do I add a new category in guidebook?

I don’t see any way to add restaurant suggestions under a heading. Add to Guidebook button does not give me a choice. ‘A place’  goes to a map entry even though beneath it says ‘Recommended restaurants…’

Perhaps I am just old and thick but would appreciate input!

First, add the address or name of the place, and then it will give you the option to create a new category down below. See the screenshots attached for better reference.
