How do i find out if my house is in a legally zoned part of goleta?

I cant seem to find any information specific to where I live

Have you contacted the office of City Council for Goleta?  That would be the first place I would try.  

 

Here is their website: http://www.cityofgoleta.org/

Here is the draft rezoning document for your reading pleasure.  Take a look at IV201. - possibly no residential use if I read it right.

 

Now, hopefully if I ever make it to Goleta (wherever it is), I will get a free night or two for my two minutes of research!
