How to contact a host when all the future dates are unavailable?

I want to ask a host a question about their place but when I go to 'contact host' it asks me to put in a starting date. So I try to find a starting date but there are available none until Sep 2020. When I click on Sep 2020 a message pops up saying these dates are unavailable. 

Is it possible for me to contact a host another way? I really want to ask her something!!

I've just picked a home at random and tried messaging them (via their profile picture under 'The Host'), and when I get to the window where I type my message, I ignored the 'When are you travelling' bit and just put in a message. The send button was then highlighted, so I assumed it would work without dates.

Give it a go and see what happens.

Good morning, I would like to contact a host about possible availability in the future. All dates have been blocked out so I’m unable to send a message. Does anyone have any suggestions on how else I can go about contacting the host?
