You can snooze your listing but then it won't show up in any search results, even for dates that you have available.
You can also manually block the dates you wish to use your listing. This way your listing will show in search results for all dates other than the blocked ones.
To snooze a listing click on "Host" and select "Listing". Then scroll to the end of the page and click the "Edit" button for the "Listing status" section. Then click in the "Listing status" box and selected "Snoozed". Then click "Save".
To manually block dates, click on "Host" and then select "Calendar". Then click on the first date that you wish to block. In the box that appears on the right then click on the date after the arrow in the "Selected dates" box. Then choose the last date that you wish to block. Then click "Save".
Then no one will be able to check in or stay on any of those dates. Remember, though, that checkout is still possible on the first date if guest has stayed on previous nights.
For example if you use the apartment from the 1st of May to the 30th of September then you should block from the 30th of April to the 30th of Semtember if you don't want to have the possibility of dealing with a checkout on the 1st of May.
