I am new to the site, how do I promote my cottage?

We have our first renter, but have had no more inquiries, how do I push or get my place noticed in the listings?  Any help appreciated.

You can also look at different listings companies for your cottage and speak to your local tourism board to see if you can pay to advertise on their website or other joint promotional opportunities @Sarah2429

Yes, trying that and connecting with others.  I guess you can't advertise on here then or boost?
