I just found out my guests checked in a day early - how do I alter?

I'm a virtual host. I just found out my guests checked in a day early - how do I alter to reflect the early check-in date even thought it has already passed? Or what is the best way to resolve?

I would call Airbnb or go the the resolution center and make a claim on the reservation.
