ID and photo matching

I have a guest who wants to join Airbnb but has a flip phone with no camera and a desktop computer with no camera; they have a profile and the drivers license and profile picture but this third requirement was asked of the guest after inquiring.

This new instant verification requirement assumes everyone has a smartphone. But what about the demographics of users that cannot take an instant picture?

I didn't have to take a selfie.

What are they supposed to do?

@Jamie-and-Gustavo0 - It's really nice that you want to help your guest with this problem.  Airbnb does this for all guests now to provide a higher level of security for qualified profiles. Scammers started abusing the system and they ruined trust for everyone.

They can take a digital photo with any device and upload it. It doesn't have to be their camera or their own laptop. If they do not know anyone with a phone with a digital camera, phone camera or a laptop with a camera, they can go to their local Kinkos store or any photography site and have one taken.  They can probably go to their local library and have this done for free.  I bet if they go to their phone store, the salesman would be more than happy to snap a photo for them and send it to the guest's email account so they can upload it.

Hi, I have a guest who has been verified by phone and by email but there is no profile photo. They live about an hour from my apartment and wish to check out at 6.30 in the morning making it very difficult for me to be there and check out the Apartment. Advice would be appreciated please. They’ve booked the minimum required three nights stay.
