ID verification off but guests still need to verify

Hi,  I am a new host with a new listing (one week old).  I have been communicating with a freind that would like to book but does not want to go through the verification process.  I DO want to use AirBnB to cover both of us in this business transaction. 

The ID Verification under reservation requirements is not checked.  As an AirBnB guest, does she need to take a pic of a drivers license?  Her pic is on her profile. 

How can we get her booked without going through verification?

I am having the same issue verificati not turned on in reservation settings yet booking requests are asked to verify ID. !

Did this get resolved?  If so, how?

We have a guest who would like to book, but is not comfortable uploading a pic of id or passport.  They're concerned about identity theft.

We also have Verification ID UNCHECKED. And we would love to have them stay.

Any input would be appreciated.
