IDfy verification request for host in Russia

Hello to the community.

We are hosts from Russia. 

We received a message on the e-address from IDfy on behalf of AirBnB with the requirement to go through the procedure of verification of identity. The letter says that if we do not provide personal data, our profile will be blocked on February 8 2019.

We learned that the IDfy verification procedure is needed only for hosts in India. We are not citizens of India, We do not have real estate in India. Our house, which we rent through AirBnB is in Russia. This is visible in our profile.

Why do we receive verification requests from Indian companies, if our profile shows that we are hosts from Russia?
