Ideal bed setup for 3br unit?

Ideal bed setup for 3br unit?

We're outfitting two 3br units in a duplex. Do you prefer 3 queens or 2 queens and 2 twins? Should we consider a sleeper sofa as well?

Would you add a sleeper sofa to a 3br?

Thanks!

We have a 3bdrm house and set it up for 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, and the smallest bedroom with a trundle bed.  Initially, the reason for that was the small size of the bedroom, however, it has turned out that we have groups of 3 or 4 and they aren't all married, so they use all 4 of those beds.  So, have two twin beds, so multiple people have their own bed, has turned out to be what the Guests wanted (in general).  That arrangement seems to have worked well for our Guests.  We've been surprised how many of our Guests of 4 in the group have not been two couples, but maybe a couple and 2 non-couples, or even 4 people wanting to sleep individually.  Good Luck!

Sorry - I missed the sleeper sofa question.  We did also add a Queen sized sleeper sofa to the arrangement, so that we can sleep 8.  We've had several bookings of 8.  It isnt' used a lot, but it's good to have.  If we were to shop for a sleeper sofa again, we would really check out the mattress well.  They're often so crappy.  We bought a good foam topper, but still think it might be uncomfortable, even with that.
