Inbox unread messages

Hi everyone!

I had my first unread Inbox message quite some time ago but it has now grown up to 4!

I always have a 4 unread messages sign in my Inbox but I always get the message messages can't be loaded at this time and they just stay there... while of course when I open my Inbox all the messages have been processed, nothing unread.

I tried switching in between traveling and hosting views, also no success. Also tried on both desktop and mobile versions.

Also already tried the different views like Archived or Starred, etc - but no success. Anyone else has come to the same problem and might have a suggestion?

Many thanks!

This might help... when you go to your dashboard there will be a list of pending messaes and/or notifications. You can click on them to then go in and read it. However for me reading them does not make that message on the dashboard go away. When I click on the X by the message or notification on the dashboard, then it removes the number it says I had waiting. It took me awhile to put this together, and it might not work on your browser. I don't have anything pending right now so I can't include a screen shot. Hope the explaination isn't too confusing.

I have had 1 just sitting there and can't remove it. I'm thinking its a bug that will eventually fix itself.

I've had it for over a year and it's only increasing so I don't think it'll fix by itself: but thanks for the input. At least now I know it's been happening to someone as well. Thanks!

Glad to read these as I've been trying everything as well to open that 1 unread msg! Thank you for sharing.

I have the same problem.  I'm useing the Firefox browser to avoid this problem.  It works great.

Hope this helps

Hi Marie & John!

Thanks for your help, that indeed did the trick and solved my problem.

I had actually done almost all of that; I had already drilled down on all messages and also on the dashboard items, from notifications to alerts and reviews but I hadn't removed them by clicking in the "x" as you said. I wanted to keep the history of my alerts which apparentely in not allowed - unless you want to have these unread messages in your inbox.

By clicking them away through the x on the right upper corner then they're also away from the Inbox and I can get them cleared up.
Thanks for helping solving my problem!

For people with the same problem, if you have subscribed this topic you'll get notified so now you know what to do which will probablt fix your problem as well! Good luck!

I am not seeing the list of Pending Messages.  I saw two from Aitbnb and answered them but the number did not change.

I have 2 "unread messages" and for the life of me can't get them to clear out in spite of having read all my messages. I wish they would fix this because eventually it will cause a delay in responding to a message because you don't think the notification is real.

Same here! I can't get rid of the number above the "messages" category.
Every time i click on it, to check for messages, it appears a little box, saying "we're sorry, but we can't load any new messages at the moment".
And so, it gets confusing, trying to understand if i have indeed unread messages or not.

(i also Can't find the X)

Thank you in advance!

  1. I'm using an ipad and don't see the x? I never had to delete them like this before?

I wouldn't be able to tell now because I have no item left. I used the browser on my Mac though. Maybe someone has made it through an iPad and can help out?

If you log out in settings it seems to clear up that annoying and lingering little number
