There have been other conversations about inexperienced guests. It's really starting to bug me getting inexperienced people expecting a hotel, failing to give a check-in estimate, expecting to use my kitchen even though my listing says in three places it's not available, and - most annoying of all - gratuitously dropping stars, even after a stay reported as perfect, so that my rankings go through the floor. Then I only seem to get requests from other inexperienced guests, and so the cycle repeats. Experienced people are fine and nearly everyone loves the place (except the zero-review guy who gave me one star for accuracy over an underpowered lightbulb), but I'd love to climb out of that closed loop.
I have already tweaked my settings so that only fully pukka guests can book instantly, but every time I decline a request from one of the other kind my ranking drops. Apart from blocking last minute requests (which is when the biggest concentrations seem to come), is there any way to simply not allow zero-review, incompletely verified guests to send requests?
