i will like to know how many cancellation does instant booking allowed without any penalty? i used to saw it host can cancel up to 3 times without penalty for instant booking. has the rules and regulations changed or is it still the same?

You may not incurr financial penalty the first time, but your listing will move back in the search results because of that cancellation. 

Best is to never cancel.

You also will lost your chance to become "super host" if you have more than 1 cancellation.

It was never 3 without reason, it was qualified now the 3 means you are likely to get suspended.
