Hi All,
I would like to ask some clarification regarding Instant Booking Cancellations, it is said you have 3 penalty-free cancellation for a year, but what does penalty-free exactly? No cancellation fee charges? No automated review of cancellation on your review wall? No blocking of dates?

I believe it means just what it states: Penalty Free! I would like to also make clear that it is for instances in which you "have concerns with a guest’s behavior before or during their trip" and NOT "calendar inaccuracy, confusion about pricing or availability, and extenuating circumstances".

Thanks Dave for your response... I just re-read the cancellation procedure and now I understand all those penalities will be waived as long as the cancellation is valid.

Previously, if you cancelled on a guest, after the 2nd time in 6 months, Airbnb would impose a $100+ fine on your next payout. They want to get more hosts over to Instant Book, it helps improve overall market performance and conversion, so they're offering this deal to incentivize the hosts.
