Instant book

I have a question: Why get hosts with instant book a priority over others?? This is discrimination... The airbnb system suggests to me every time that I should get instant book because then I will have more views... BUT I don't want to get instant book! I want to know whom I'm letting into my apartment BEFORE they book! I live here too... Also, I'm not getting any bookings at the moment and I'm wondering if it's because my listing is not shown as much as before?? Can someone help me with this?

@Barbara83 The truth is that Airbnb will not help you because IB is what they want from you. This company, transparently supportive and against any discrimination, tightly follows their policy. 😉

ABB wish to encourage IB so they appear higher up the rankings and often an initial search is restricted to IB listings.
