Is May always a slow month?

I've been hosting since November 2017 and May 2018 looks like it will be our slowest month ever.  We have far fewer bookings for May than we do for any other month.  Has anyone else noticed a slow-down in the month of May?

It might depend on the location of a listing, @Melissa-and-Coy0. I can only feel the bookings picking up in mine.

@Melissa-and-Coy0 what months are "low" and "high" season will very depending on where you are.

What is "low" season for a beach resort is the "high" season for a ski resort.

 

But yes, you may be experiencing your area's "low" season. One way to check is to look at the room rates for your local hotels. If they are cheap, then it is low season.
