Leave messages in the system to have proof that it was the guest who failed to communicate, @Danielle285, informing them that they didn't provide you with their arrival time and go home/to sleep/whatever. Airbnb hosts in the traditional meaning and according to the original spirit of the site are not hotel receptions.
