Liability Insurance

I've read the Host Protection Insurance, and understand it will cover us in the case of bodily injury or liability during a guests stay, but...what about in-between stays? A pipe could burst, and with nobody around to raise the alarm, the end result is mulitple condo units below sustaining damage. Our insurance company does not cover short term rentals, including Airbnb. Our (hi-rise) building has had so many water damage claims our building policy now has a $100,000 deductible, and policy dictates the corporation charge back that deductible to a unit's owner, if applicable. I get the feeling we'd be on the hook, does anyone know for sure?

Cheers,

DB
