How do you know you’re not getting a refund if you didn’t get in contact with anyone?
The process is
(1) contact host. I hope you messaged the host using airbnb platform so there’s a record that you got no response back.
(2) get in touch with airbnb. Send pictures of the location because obviously, it is not as advertised.
(3) airbnb would have tried to contact host. If unable to, airbnb would try to find you another STR. If none available, airbnb would have discussed processing a refund.
Did you follow those steps?
If yes, and you can’t get a refund, then if it were me, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company.
