Listing amount automatically increases by $1

Hello,

I'm trying to understand why the amount I list my place for automatically increases by $1 once I confirm the listing? For example I respectively listed for $50 and $55 per night but once confirmed the the amount increases to $51 and $56.

In response to my query Airbnb stated that it could be be due cleaning fees that I have charged or the exchange rate. I haven't charged a cleaning fee and the exchange rate suggestion doesn't make sense since I input the rate using my local currency and am viewing the rate in my local currency.
