Location on map not accurate

My location shows wrongly on airbnb search google maps. This is relevant because it shows the appartment a couple of streets into mainland and not in the rigth place, next to the sea.

Please see what I mean on the pictures attaced (ribon higligthed in green on the map).

And my ribon is behind another offer, that is no way close.

I already went on to my listing, under location, re check the exact sopt (irt was correct) and edited again and saved, but it still is wrongly placed.

Hi @Sea2,

Get in touch with Customer Services, they have an online tool that they will instruct you to use to give them accurate coordinates. I had to do the same a while back - all sorted now!

In short, use your description to explain you're by the sea (coupled with your pictures), Airbnb do this to protect your exact location being wholeheartedly displayed to the public internet.

There are several issues, as a traveler I want the most accurate location, to search by map, but as a hoster I don't want an accurate locationm, I don't want travelers to show up at my residence unannounced. If I had a beachfront, location is everything, and 1,2,3 row location matters. I would encurage airbnb to clarify that the map location is not accurate, but come up with advanced search criteria that enable search by neigborhood, beach proximity, or proximity to landmarks or other locations, I'm not sure, it's complicated...
