MIAMI BEACH SHORT TERM RENTAL BAN JANUARY 4, 2019

OK PEOPLE THIS IS IT!  THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH HAS THROWN DOWN THE GUANTLET!

Please allow us to get together and file a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THE CITY!

As an owner of three (3) apartments that are getting deleted from airbnb on January 4, 2019, I am absolutely devestated.

Not really sure how I am going to feed my family now...THANKS MIAMI BEACH MAYOR DAN GELBER!!!

Let's throw these politicians out on their asses and sue the city!

Now, I have a lawyer, who is amazing, but I am going to need your help!

Are you with me?

Call me anytime,

George **

Could you do long term rental on your property or have the government banned that as well?

Hello Cormac,

Difficult morning for us here in Miami Beach.  My listings have been "UNPUBLISHED".

The owners of properties in Miami Beach can still rent their properties long term thank goodness.

However, many of us have chosen to rent our homes to guests for short term.  My thoughts have always been, if you own your home, why can you not rent it as you wish?

I recently joined BnB Chat, and I couldn’t be happier... I receive “direct” room rental payments of Visa, M/C, AMEX, and Discover directly into my PayPal account without any delay. They don’t charge any Traveler’s Fees, and they don’t collect any Data whatsoever. This is the future... Brilliant “neutral” platform... Great App!

Wow David thank you so much!  Yeah, I was in the streets all day today and the airbnb hosts are all asking the same thing "What' next"?  Which is the best platform since Miami Beach put the kibosh on airbnb?  For sure I will check out BnB Chat, most likely look into Trip Advisor, Home Away etc.

Im just looking at that now I'll give it a go, Thanks

Good luck we are having a similar problem here in Thailand where the government want to ban short term rentals but at the moment it only applies to condo's and this stems from the trouble guest are bring with them hopefully it wont happen because of the revenue it brings Tourist $$$$$.

Try Booking.com works good out in asia they only problem with them is they charge you 15% commission so you have to up your price.
