I have received a request from The Make A Wish Foundation for discounted accommodation for a sick child and family, has anybody had experience of this.?

Its up to you if you wish to give a discount to anybody, although in this case I would direct them to the open homes program run by airbnb, where accommodation is free.

Thank you Jeff
@Nikki-and-Niall0 I would approach this request with some suspicion for two reasons: Airbnb does not allow third-party bookings for standard listings, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation generally doesn't solicit donations or discounts from private individuals. A rep who was genuinely from Make-A-Wish should have known that their foundation is already partnered with Airbnb's Open Homes Program, and can use a separate booking process to contact hosts who have volunteered their listings for it. Airbnb can also apply travel credits to the verified account of a participating charity, so there's not really a good reason for them to ask an individual host a discount.
