Maui: Need to replace A/C unit... anyone with experience with costs?

My condo in Lahaina needs the A/C replaced. It's in a complex with central air (Royal Kahana), so it's not the 'in-window' type of A/C (which would be easy). It's a behind-the-wall, industrial A/C unit. The condo is a ~400 sq. ft. studio. Anyone have experience with getting these replaced, in terms of cost? Cost I'm getting quoted at this point is about $9K for total cost (incl. the unit, installation, opening/closing of the wall, plumbing, etc.)
