my messages and emails from AIRBNB are suddenly in another language (Spanish?) rather than English. What a pain translating them.

@Cathy112 ¡Que barbaridad! That would be hilarious if it wasn't such a pain.

Using a web browser (preferably Chrome) on a pc or mac, log in to AirBnB. Mouse over your "avatar" (your photo over on the upper right) and click on "Edit Profile". In the page that appears, scroll down until you see "Preferred Language". If it says anything other than English, correct it. If it already says English, you'll probably have to contact AirBnB to figure this out.

Many thanks, I followed your instructions, and hopefully will be English from now on. I have no idea how my preferred language became Espanol. I was in Spain after walking the Portuguese Camino recently and was starting to wonder if I was channeling a Spanish saint or something!
