Hi, I’m a guest who suppose to stay in Milan at this moment. (08.2019)
and my host sent email asking about my personal information and i don’t know if i should send it.
The host wants to have these infos from all.
Name
Last Name
Gender
Date of birth
State of your citizenship
State where you were born
Document Type (passport or ID, ect..)
ID number
State where the document was issued
if anybody has clue, can you tell me what kinda law it is and it‘s surely secure?
Thanks,
Sujin
Ke krátkodobému ubytování tyto informace nejsou nutné,pokud na nich hostitel trvá,nedávejte skutečné,ale změněné,mohlo by se jednat o podvodné vylákání údajů.Hodně štěstí.
@Sujin6 Many European countries and some others require that all foreign guests are registered with the local govt. office. That is why your host would be asking for this information, he requires it in order to be in compliance with govt. regulations. I'm sure you could Google the exact laws or at least a list of which countries require this info from guests if you wanted to research further.
Hello Sujin
I am a host in Milan and I confirm you that is mandatory by law to register every new guest. The information your host asked you is exactly what we need for this process. Is the same for hotels.
Ciao!
