More information on business license if I sublet in WA?

I just received a notification from AirBnB stating I need to register my listings because I live in Seattle.

I currently am renting the house listed, but I have permission from my landlord to sublet (stated on our signed lease).

I understand anyone who hosts a short-term rental needs to obtain a Business License (from City of Seattle) and a short-term rental operator license (via Airbnb)....but I can't to find anything in regards to hosts who sublet.

I would like to see if anyone is in the same situation or has more info about this before I go apply.

It doesn't matter whether you are sub letting. If you are hosting, which you are, you will need a business licence and the operator license @Nina21

I am not sure from what you have said, whether you need to stop hosting until you have these in place?

I would imagine you city goverment would be best placed to advise you for any queries related to your applying for both these items.
