My House

I own a house in Spain which is let. I wanted to visit my house to inspect and looked for a local property to stay for a weekend. Wasn't I lucky to find my house was available on AirBnb. I contacted Air Bnb who said that they would not take the posting down until instructed by the tenant. I cannot contact anyone at AirBnb and even though my tenant has left my house remains on AirBnb.
I hope that when you rent a property as I have done regularly on AirBnb you have insurance and that the property meets local letting regulations.
i do hope AirBnb read this and actually remove my property before I become liable and as such I hold AirBnb liable.

Just let it go... your house is fine.

@Peter144, if your house was being rented out by the tenant without your knowledge, you should contact AirBnB immediately.

You can reach them via the Help link at bottom of this page.

Or via Facebook.

Or – if you have a Twitter account - try twitter@airbnbhelp. It’s said there’s a quick response.

The list here contains a link with several international phone numbers (‘How to contact AirBnB’).

The easiest route is probably to contact your previous tenant and ask them to remove the listing
