My Listing

Air Bnb is awesome.

However last night I received a request for a booking and I tried to pre-approve or Dec line. I could do neither. On calling Air bnb I needed to remember the last four digits of my bank card. It did not match the one I have  so I remain in a position where i cannot get into my listing. I need to respond to this potential guest within 24 hours. Time is running out and Air bnb cannot sem to help. "My Air Bnb  is awesome" line may sadly change to...?...

hello @David4524
Welcome to ABB CC

You mention you needed to know the last 4 digits of your bankcard - did you mean bank account?
If so find a copy of it in your records - either hard copy or in online banking records and contact ABB and that should help get into your listing.

By the way, your listing isn't showing up here in CC so maybe you need to adjust your settings when you do gain access to it.

Hi Helen, Thanks.

Airbnb is still awesome! Thank goodness. My bad, I discovered I had inadvertently tried to open another account. I have since deleted it and am now all systems go.

Although there is the question of some potential guests not scrolling down and seeing that an extra guest includes an extra fee. They seem to think my initial fee is for two people. Any suggestions as to how to make them aware that two is one hundred per cent more than one?

Cheers

David

HI @David4524

Go to your listing.

Go to pricing

Scroll down to standard fees and charges

Select extra guests

Enter the fee for each guest after one

Enter "for each guest after" ( in your case 1)

cheers

Hi @David4524

there would indeed be a Rowena 28, and a 27 etc etc  - airbnb allocated us those numbers based on a first come first serve basis - there would have been 5440 David's register before you for example.

Just a heads up, if you're replying to someone on these boards you need to use the @ symbol as I did for you on the first line - then that person will get an alert telling them they've been tagged in a conversation.  Otherwise they may very well never realise you have replied.

As the creator of the thread you get an alert every time someone adds to it....
