My listing is getting way less views - anyone know why that might be?

Hi everyone! Happy New Year. I notice while looking at my views that over the last 2 monts I have gotten 60-70 views per month, whereas the 3 months prior I had several hundred. I have had successful experiences w guests except one who thought my place wasn't clean enough so I got 4 stars, everything else rave reviews. Any thoughts? TIA!

Only in California there is 125.803 listing, San Francisco has 8.655 listing and is the city were Airbnb born, so don't be surprised. 🙂

Everytime a new listing is add, is override to the top, so someone else listing go to the bottom, you have to update and interact with your listing everyday if you want to stay at the top and get some booking.

Hello @Alicia98.  You have been given excellent information from @Raffaele-and-Astrid0.  Additionally, you need to get a sense of the seasonality of your location.  While San Francisco is a sought after location pretty much year around, there are many times in the fall when the city sells out of hotel rooms due to conventions.  I am not a fan of Smart Pricing for my location which is near Palm Springs, but I do look at the pricing suggestions to gauge general trends.   I spoke with an Air BNB system engineer while I was at the LA Open who helped me understand that most bookings occur between 8 and 30 days ahead, except for special events which can book a year ahead.  Anyway, If I do not have reservations for a particular time within a month, I will lower my price.  Good luck!!
