I am not currently a host. I had a long term renter that was renting until July 20. This renter listed the place on AirBnb. Apparently, AirBnB didn't bother checking if he was the owner or had my permission. This renter gave the key to people he found on AirBnB and then left the country. So now, there are 12 people in the apartment. Double the amount, I would ever allow. I need to kick these people out now. Unfortunately I'm in another country at the moment.
AirBnB makes it impossible to contact them. I've left messages in the help area. So if I don't get a response from them, I'll be forced to travel there. Then, I'll sue AirBnb for my travel expenses and lost work. Plus I'll have to hire a man with a gun to force these people out. They won't want to go easily because they've already paid.
Since AirBnB was clearly negligent in allowing a non-owner to rent my property. How do I get them to respond and avoid a major lawsuit for all my expenses?
