Has anyone else had a problem with Airbnb? We made reservations several weeks ago and we were charged twice for the stay. After over 2 hours on the phone they finally reversed one of the charges. I just got off the phone with someone from Airbnb that called to say that we'll have to re-book for another place because the space we reserved is no longer available (Today is Tuesday and the trip is this weekend). The plane tickets are booked and bags are being packed. WTF? This is ridiculous!!!! Never again. This is supposed to be a vacation for my daughters birthday and now it's ruined. I don't know what I'm going to do with such short notice.
I'd love to hear an explanation from Airbnb for this one, you must have had a confirmed booking with Airbnb for them to take one payment not alone two!
But I wouldn’t hold my breath.
My only advice is book an Hotel, their much more professional and you won’t have to wait two hours, to get someone to answer you.
