Hello Airbnb
Sorry, Bonita. That his just not true. All AirBnB offers is an ical export for the calendar. You can import that into your Google calendar.
You get the exact same content as you would in any other calendar (iOS, mac or other platforms). The content is driven by AirBnB's calendar server.
And BTW, the change was officially announced by AirBnB beginning of December.
They just goofed (not the first time).

What about Modifications coming in on Ical while a guest is in house or after check out. What is this? Anyone getting these false modifications? We are especially disappointed with the Ical changes since it syncs with out booking engine provider. We thought they we doing this until I found this discussion.
Also, to add insult to injury, the event on your calendar is locked and read only, so you can't reference even a phone number. Two things that were essential to me personally.....the first name of the guest, and the check-in and check-out date "at a glance"...Now you have to go around the world to get that information and terrible when your in an area such as I am with bad cell service. Essential for housekeepers to so they can pre-plan.
I definitely do not like the fact that our feedback was completely ignored. What did this decision from Airbnb stem from? What horrible thing happened that prompted this? Someone cut a finger, and now they're taking away everyone's knives?
I noticed the same. And it is a ROYAL pain. It means I need to open an event, then click the link to the AirBnB website just in order to find out the name of my guest!!!
I don't understand the logic behind removing names from calendar events. I just don't understand.
I complained to their support. I expect to have it ignored though.
