I have listed my home as No Pets. Yet, I recently had an inquiry that the guest had put in "pet friendly" and my house popped up. Thankfully, she messaged me to ask because of the confusion. I've searched my sight thoroughly and don't know why unless it is simply because I had someone inquire about a service dog. I've had to change my settings to prevent someone from automatically booking with pets and will need to message all my reserved guests to confirm No Pets. How do I get this problem resolved?
Potential guests can inquire about anything, @Natalie394. Your rules and limitations are only activated if they try to book. If you get a reservation that is outside your listing parameters, contact Air BNB to cancel if you do not want to accommodate.
You don’t have to have a service dog if you already have your own dog under the listing......particularly if your pet is a bull terrier or a Rottweiler!....only joking.
I would phone air bnb asap to get this listing changed to an accurate listing, to make it abundantly clear NO pets allowed as you have a dog already in your living space .....if you don’t have a dog then you will enjoy the company of a guests service dog.
@Natalie394 your listing states No Pets...............relax....just folks wanting to come with their pet probably. they don't read the listing and make assumptions, my guess. happy hosting, Clara
