Non-refundable BETA Offer

a discount for reservations with a Non-refundable cancellation policy.

Was wondering if someone can clear up some confusion for me.

I have moderate cancellation policy.

Is the non-refundable policy in effect right up to the time the guest arrives, or is it up to the  beging of the moderate cancellation policy?

In effect a guest can make a last minute booking, realising it a moderate cancellation policy and thinks "I'm going to lose my money anyway if I cancel so may as well grab a 10% bonus"

The host loses 10% because its last minute.

Am sure this was set up to offer to guests whom are booking in the distant future but its not going to work like this as it will seriously benefit the the "Last Minute bookings"

I think they are agreeing to the discount in exchange for you having a strict cancellation policy. So, if someone picks the discount, they will have strict. If they don't, it will still be moderate.
