Notice for bookings

Hi, I was wondering what peoples experiances are with regards to the amount of notice guests typically give. Im hosting an enitire 3 bed town house. I imagine that familys and groups coming for a week or so will book in advance but couples staying for a weekend will book last minute. Is that a correct assumption? I dont expect many business travel bookings. Thanks.

The only real way is waiting and seeing what sort of pattern you get.

Would a couple want to rent a whole house?

My pattern varies, seasonally and seems to be linked to the weather. Usually the more people the more notice. Most of my booking are short notice, but events can book up a long time before.

Depends on where you are located - we get 4-6 weeks notice from most people. But we have just one room in London in our flat...so it's people coming for a weekend.
