Number of guests

Hi there

I have a 4 bedroom house sleeping 8 quests. However I wish to advertise as having any number of guests up to a maximum of 8.

In the Airbnb website listing, if 8 guests are entered, it is limited to 8. EG : a traveller may be searching for 6 guests and my listing for 8 guests does not pop up.

I would like it to pop up for every search - not just those searching for a 8 guests home. There may be a party of 5 looking, yet  my 8 sleeping listing does not pop up.

@Sally530  Your listing does appear in searches for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 guests. However, the smaller the number of people in a group is, the larger the number of properties competing for it in Search (including ones that don't have a Host Cancellation on their record). So you'll appear most prominently in searches for 8, where scarcity is on your side.

Your Extra Guest Fee is probably the best card you can play here. If it's possible to lock bedrooms that aren't needed for the number of people booking, you can make the property more affordable for smaller groups. Be aware, though, that guests in homes as large as yours very frequently misrepresent their group size to avoid the fees.
