How do I find out what has been collected for occcupancy tax and whether or not it has been submitted on my behalf?

My rental is tax exempt for 15 days rented or less but Airbnb is still going to take taxes from my guests. I'm probably just not going to list it or let my renters eat the cost. I don't know what to do about it.

Air BNB can only collect and remit taxes owed to any municipality according to the agreement that they have.  If they are not adhering to the criteria set up for the collection, i.e., 15 days exempt, you should notify the taxing agency.  To collect tax from anyone without proper authority is fraud.  You need to be on the record of objecting to the fraud, but it is up to the taxing agency to enforce the agreement.  Good luck!!
