I had a guest book for this bank holiday weekend, and subsequently cancel. Airbnb confirmed they had been refunded as per our strict policy. I have an outstanding upcoming part-payment, regarding this guest. It was due yesterday, but didn’t come through. Another guest booked the same dates via Airbnb and I received their payment yesterday.
Has anyone experienced this before? Where the part payment is due, but not received?
Any chance the guest pleaded extenuating circumstance with the cancellation? That would allow Air BNB to refund the total amount despite your cancellation policy.
