Paying My Co-Host

I'm a new Host who will be offering up my bachelor apartment whenever I'm away on business. I jsut wanted to confirmed the options for how co-hosts are paid. I'd ideally like to pay my co-host directly and just want to ensure they aren't paid automatically by Airbnb.

Reason being...when I leave my apartment for a trip I'll be doing the work to clean the aparmtent and getting it ready for the first guest. The co-host will just need to drop the keys off and welcome the guest. If I'm gone for an extended period of time (I'm about to depart on a one month trip) she'll have 3 or 4 guest showing up when I'm gone so will need to clean and ready the room when I'm away.

For the frist guest I'll jsut be paying her a key fee (10 bucks) while for the other guests that require a full clean and tidy she'll be paid 45 dollars. Can someone confirm...that as the primary host and owner of the home. Airbnb will pay out the total invocie for each guest and I'll be responsbile for compensating my cleaner directly?

Thanks!

Probably easiest for you to get the whole amount deposited to your account, then you pay your co-host directly. (There are lots of apps you can use to transfer money to/from other people for no charge - I use Venmo and love it.)

Or just use Paypal to receive your money from AirBnB and then immediately transfer the amount you wish to your co-host. It's much faster than doing it via a bank and with no fees

Is it possible to pay someone directly through Airbnb?  Is there an average or good guideline to what a cohost gets paid?
