Paying by cash

If some messages me and wants to pay xash is it allowed and/ or how does it work with the payment to Airbnb?

@Natalie564  I have to say I'm rather surprised to see this question asked by a Superhost. It is most definitely not allowed for a guest who contacts you though Airbnb to pay you cash for the accomodation. And if they do, not only will you not be covered by Airbnb in any way for the reservation, you could get delisted if they found out about it.

@Sarah977  I guess that @Natalie564 may want to find a way to have the guest booked through Airbnb system with a cash payment to her and she could pay her due (service fee) to Airbnb afterwards.

But as mentioned by @Sarah977 , Airbnb forbids any payment not going through them. It is interesting that I saw the similar questions were asked twice today in this forum.
