We had a guest and her friend stay with us. The stay went smoothly but when we began cleaning we noticed a rather large red stain on the carpet in the guest quarters that appears to be hot sauce. Because the guests didn’t notice it the stain set and is seeped into the carpet and we’re unable to remove the stain. We opened a claim against their security deposit of $15 to obtain heavier duty cleaning supplies. The guest apologized and said they didn’t notice he stain. It appears the payment was going to go through although we received a notice from Airbnb that the payment is now delayed. I’m unsure as to what this means and when we will receive the $15 payment. Does anyone have an answe for this?
