Paypal is not available to use as payment method

Hi community,

I'm trying to book a room and I'm checking the Paypal payment method is not available. The page shows me the following message:

"This payment method can’t be used. Select another currency or payment method"

Is this happened because the host can decide to use only VISA or MASTERCARD and avoid receiving payments from Paypal? or because of something else?

I'd like to use Paypal to rent this room as I've done in lots of other trips.

Met too, paid a few months ago with PayPal no problemand I still receive payment as a host. But now  looks like my PayPal is blocked as a paying method. I live in The Netherlands.

So paypal is deprecated? What is the reason?
