Hi all, I had a person staying with me that had an excellent review list and I actually gave him a good recommendation. However, afterwards I felt pretty creeped out and so did my other guests. He sent me a message in the middle of the night that mentioned how he liked to give massages when he was at massage school - but it was so convoluted I really didn't get it until he apolegized later. My other guest who helped him with his luggage was also creeped out. He was super rude to her too. Then he brought another guy guest in with him and they were again really rude to my nice/helpful guest (who has stayed with me three times now long-term). Now that I've made a "nice" review of this dude should I change it and warn other potential guests? Should airbnb be alerted? I'm just not sure what to do - feeling violated and confused.
@Deborah50, you could flag the guest's profile and inform AirBnB of what occurred.
@Deborah50 Yikes! Did you know that we have a locked group here for discussing more sensitive matters? It's open to signed-in hosts only.
On a technical point, if you have already submitted the review, you won't be able to change it.
Good luck!
Enda
You should flag this guest or send the Trust & Safety Team an email. This kind of behaviour is definitely not tolerated.
If he has not yet left a review you can go back to change it until he either leaves a review or 48 hours after you have left yours. Here the corresponding help article
