How much do you usually charge for pet deposits ( service dog)? Is it returned to the owner?

There is no "pet deposit" on a listing. You can set a pet fee, which is charged to the guest in the booking proces. If you also want to collect a security deposit regarding the pet, you need to use the resolution centre. But IMHO it is not common practice to charge such a security deposit.

@Emiel1   I was going to allow an exception since it was a service animal.  I have since learned it is illegal to charge a security deposit for a service animal.  This makes perfect sense.  Thank you for your response.
